Last night, heavy metal class, we did the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Max Back Squat 5&#215;1<\/li>\n<li>Thruster Breathing Ladder (45#)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>My back squat lifts came out like this: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>135#<\/li>\n<li>225#<\/li>\n<li>315# (Not technically a fail. I came forward and had some bad form, but still got it.)<\/li>\n<li>335# (PR)<\/li>\n<li>350# (F)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The breathing ladder wasn&#8217;t so bad. Thankfully, I was able to remember my Yang Chi breathing from KF which REALLY helped. If you are unfamiliar, a breathing ladder is where you do pyramiding reps and get the number of breaths in reps that you just did. <\/p>\n<p>Example: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 rep, 1 breath<\/li>\n<li>2 reps, 2 breaths<\/li>\n<li>&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>10 reps, 10 breaths<\/li>\n<li>&#8212;<\/li>\n<li>2 reps, 2 breaths<\/li>\n<li>1 rep, 1 breath<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This was not timed. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ll keep this one short.
